My name is Sophie Rose Zoricic. I am of Croatian, British and African descent. Born in Brisbane April, 1995, I reloacted to South Africa at 12 weeks old. I am so grateful to my parents, Glenda and Vince, for the home videos and photos captured in the four years of living there. The next step in my journey took place in a small British town just over an hour out of London where, from the ages of four to six, I truly created some childhood memories. First day of school, first time riding a bike, first ballet exam. Fun fact: I spent the first six birthdays of my life in six different countries..

My seventh birthday took me back to Brisbane, Australia. A few years later, Caloundra and then the Sunshine Coast where, for some reason, I really call home. Maybe it is because my late poppy (who I love and miss everyday) lived here in a house that he built with his own hands. Before I knew it I was living in Melbourne. Five years of my crucial teenage years were spent full time at The Australian Ballet School and I wouldn't change it for anything! After graduating at seventeen, life took me back to my humble Brisbane where I accepted my first job as a professional ballet dancer at Queensland Ballet. It's been three and a half years living back in the Sunshine State and in that time I've met lifelong friends, fallen in love, moved out of home, travelled to the USA on a four week scholarship, performed in the world class London Coliseum, bought a house, bought a car. I guess what really prompted me to start this blog is the most incredible milestone of all. My older sister is pregnant...I am going to be an Aunty. In my opinion, the most amazing gift in the world!

This is a chance for me to share my images (all taken on my iphone 6S), my travels, the moments that mean so much to me and the things I experience...everything is seen through my eyes. I love writing, I love taking photos of anything and everything. I love the people in my life and I've decided to create a space where I can fuse and share these special things about me, myself and everyone.
